EMPOWERING AND
UNITING DALLAS
Why I am Running...
I am running because this court touches people’s lives in profound ways, and I am committed to using my legal knowledge and courtroom experience to ensure that justice in Dallas County Precinct 5 is delivered with common sense, integrity, and kindness.

Why run for this court?
I’m running for this court because I genuinely care about how people experience the justice system, and I believe it works best when it is guided by both knowledge and kindness. I have handled numerous cases in this court.
Justice of the Peace courts handle thousands of cases that directly affect people’s daily lives, including housing, credit card debt, and lawsuits up to $20,000. Those decisions require a judge who understands the law and applies it fairly. A Justice of the Peace is a judge. It is a legal job, not a political one.
I’m running because everyone deserves to be treated with respect and I believe my extensive knowledge of the law will benefit our Dallas community if I am elected to serve. Understanding people is important but knowing the law is non-negotiable.
I’m a small business owner and a grassroots candidate. This is my first time running for an elected office. I am not politically well connected but I am a hard worker. I worked a blue-collar job for years in order to save for law school and waited tables at night while working on my undergraduate degree. I have led teams and volunteered often in our Dallas community.
DFW has been home for my entire adult life. I live in Precinct 5. It is a large and diverse Precinct.
One of my favorite sayings is, “Be the change you wish to see.”
I will be on the ballot for the 2026 Dallas County Democratic Primary Election.
